After inspecting the exif file on some of the photo’s, I see he used different wide-angle lenses. He must have been fairly close. Or he used a big crop…
These are amazing pictures, and though it may not be exactly what you meant, it seems like when you say Animals face to face, that it seems like they are looking into and at the viewing audience. To be all true, it helps to say that we are animals just like them, just a little misshapen, I love the squirrels where one is just peeking over the edge staring. His face seems to be saying, Where did you come from? You weren’t here earlier..

These are totally fake. Big time. ALL of them. The eyes are funny and they’re too posed. Look at the pic with the penguins– specifically the flying bird’s wings. Anything look wrong?

Wow, I just stumbled these as did a few other commentators and I must say BRA-vo sir, the falcons photo is amazing, with the immaculate background cascading, and the last one of the buffalo [maybe bison?] was really cool and intense, with the winter season yet the heated expression of half its face – excellent work!
Absolutely breathtaking, but are they photoshopped? I read a few comments to see if this has already been discussed, one guy said the images aren’t real- which really doesn’t matter, I still want to buy a print for my wall, -but- as someone with photoshop experience, I see some areas where it mighhhtt have been just barelyy?
